Our Journey
Founded in 1996 by a Chartered professional with a proven track record in international mega-projects, MKS (originally Mega Kontrak Servis Sdn Bhd) was established to bring world-class expertise to large developments.
Beside conventional building projects, our foundation was forged by our Directors involvement in Oil & Gas industry, one of the world’s most rigorous engineering environments. This includes the full-lifecycle EPC delivery of specialized energy infrastructure, such as Brunei LNG (Shell Group), featuring facilities operating at −162°C. These high-complexity beginnings shaped our core capability: navigating extreme engineering precision, rigid cost structures, and high-level contractual risk.
Today, MKS has expanded this specialized expertise as a critical partner in mission-critical infrastructure, including:

Our Logo: A Philosophy Embedded in Form
The MKS mark is anchored in the etter“M”for Mega — a direct reflection of our origins and enduring commitment to delivering large technically complex projects. This encompasses everything from pioneering LNG infrastructure to today’s cutting-edge data centers and mission-critical developments.
At the very core of our logo lies the character “心” (xīn), meaning ‘heart’ or ‘mind’ — seamlessly embedded within its form. This intentional fusion of English structure and profound Chinese philosophy symbolizes MKS as a crucial bridge between two worlds: upholding global standards while excelling in regional execution, and integrating Western contract frameworks with robust Chinese delivery strength.
